Why we stock so many UK-made bottles
One of the advantages of buying UK-made products from a UK retailer is the shorter journey between production, our storeroom and your door. Products travelling long distances from mainland Europe, the United States or elsewhere may spend considerably more time in transit and can experience changing temperatures along the way.
That is one reason the majority of our range is sourced from UK manufacturers. We also stock selected products made overseas where we believe they deserve a place in the range. These are brought into the UK and held as part of our own stock before being offered for sale, so regardless of where a particular bottle was manufactured, your order is dispatched from within the UK.
That means no international shipping wait, no customs clearance for your parcel and no unexpected import duty appearing after you have already ordered.
British favourites and selected international brands
Liquid Gold is one of the best-known names in the range and has been produced in Britain for decades. English Poppers is another established British favourite, with a loyal following among customers who prefer a domestically produced bottle.
Alongside our UK-made products, we also offer a small and carefully chosen selection of internationally produced brands. We continually review our catalogue and confirm where individual lines are manufactured so we can give customers clear and accurate information about what they are buying.
If you already know the label you want, our brand collections cover everything we stock, whether manufactured in Britain or overseas.
Where the law stands
Poppers sit in a specific legal position in the UK. Alkyl nitrites are not classified as controlled drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, and the products we stock are sold as leather cleaners, room aromas and odourisers for the purposes stated on their labels.
Buying from a UK-based retailer also means your order is supplied from stock already held in the UK rather than being individually imported from overseas. Our guide to the law sets out the detail if you want to know more.
Ordering, pricing and delivery
Everything on our site ships from our own UK stock rather than being forwarded to you from a warehouse overseas. Whether a bottle is manufactured here in Britain or is one of the selected international products in our range, it is already in the UK before you order it.
Orders placed before the daily cut-off leave the same working day, and most of the UK receives them the next day. Packaging is plain and unbranded, and the descriptor on your statement gives nothing away.
Prices are set in pounds, delivery is free above £25, and there are no currency conversion fees, customs charges or overseas handling costs added to your order. If you are still comparing formulas, our guide to the main brands explains how they differ.
